Discover the Authentic Magic of Folegandros

A destination where tradition, authenticity, and natural beauty come together to offer an unforgettable escape. From serene villages to crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views, Folegandros is the perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility, culture, and unique experiences away from the crowds.

Authentic Cycladic Atmosphere

Folegandros is an island of wild beauty, where a traditional character blends harmoniously with a high standard of amenities. Visitors are immersed in a setting that is both chic and sophisticated, yet exudes an alternative style that sets it apart from more commercialized destinations.

The island's main town, Chora, is a picturesque heaven, with its charming traditional white-washed buildings and narrow cobblestone streets that invite exploration. Here, the atmosphere is authentically Greek, offering a genuine taste of the local culture and hospitality.

The village of Ano Meria, where Provalma is located, feels almost forgotten by time, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Crystal Waters and Scenic Views

Folegandros boasts pristine, deliberately unserviced beaches, where one can enjoy the untouched beauty of nature.

The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, providing a refreshing respite from the warm Mediterranean sun.

The landscape of Folegandros ensures that stunning sea views are accessible from nearly every corner of the island, making it a visual paradise for those who appreciate natural landscapes.

Beyond the Known Paths

Folegandros is certainly renowned for the Chora and Kastro, the views and sunset from Panagia church, the movie set-like restaurants in the Chora and the popular beaches of Aggali, Agios Nikolaos, Livadaki and Katergo. Though, it doesn’t stop here.

Discover the hidden gems of Folegandros by exploring its lesser known parts, from pristine beaches to captivating landmarks and unforgettable experiences. For those seeking more intimate and under the radar spots, Ampeli and Galifos beaches offer small, wild, and free-spirited environments, while Vorina and Vardia provide stunning views and serene waters.

Culture, Nature & Local Flavors

Immerse yourself in the island's rich culture by delving into Folegandros local history at the Folklore Museum and Cultural Center. Don't miss the breathtaking sunsets at Chrysopigi or St. Anargyron, perfect for creating lasting memories. For the adventurous, hiking on organized trails, scuba diving and boat tours around the dramatic coastline offer exhilarating ways to experience the island's natural beauty.

After a day of exploration, savor traditional cuisine at restaurants in Ano Meria and Aggali, where you can enjoy an authentic taste of Folegandros. Embrace the charm and allure of these under-the-radar spots for an unforgettable island getaway.
